"Good game, very addictive."

Well, its the first budokai game for the PSP. We knew it would come eventually, and it came... with stunning graphics and gameplay.

Storyline- 9/10
FINALLY!!! If I see Raditz one more time my own anger will make me the first real- life super saiyan. God, finally, and I must say the game told me a lot about the movie, despite me never seeing it. Basically, Janemba escaped from HFIL and seals off heaven and then the previous villains also come through.

Graphics- 10/10
This is where the game got good. Just like a standard Budokai game, stunning for a fighter game... the parts where ultimate attacks are used is awesome too.

Sound- 9/10
Sound to me isn't a big factor in gameplay. Classic DBZ music with some new themes added in.

Controls- 10/10
Now HERE's where the game gets unique from other budokais. Finally, the garbage known as hyper mode is gone and replaced with the also (IMO) useless aura burst, and all of the moves are done with one- button combos. Although my previous budokai experience made me rush in to do a P-P-P-P-E combo quite a few times... this is actually quite possible... just do a combo followed by -->E. Works pretty well, unless they teleport. I also use G+<< to powerup still, E to pursue, and L (which is what I set G+P+K to) to transform.

Gameplay- 8/10
Well I must say what I missed the most was CAPSULES!!! *sobs* I miss them... still it is a good game. But now zeni is really wasted on the new profile cards system... the cards may LOOK cool but they really do NUTHIN! I love them, but I won't say that on the boards cuz I don't like getting flamed ;). Well, the old budokais with some new twists is what SB comes out to be.

Lifespan/Replay Value- 10/10
YEA, I'm still hooked after like 3 full days of gameplay... thats since I wanna unlock new STAMPS!!! And the fights are great too. Get this

Buy this game definitely. 43 USD is nothing for an excellent game like this. I've only seen ONE hate thread on the boards... what a miracle.

Conclusion: A cool game. It had potential to be better, but it is awesome as it is, so I wouldn't say to risk making it worse just to make it better.
