"This game is horrible!!!!!!!! Worst port of a decent game EVER."

Oh geeze........bad ports like this have been quite available on the PSP as of late sadly.

Here's some background on me as a Pac player. I've been playing games since late atari, early nintendo. I'm not a complete vet but I would consider myself one of the old schoolers. The pac man franchise has really had it's ups and downs as I'm sure nearly anyone will tell ya! PM world has made some great steps in becoming a better mini-series but this really is un-acceptable.

Sounds - 7.5/10

I was impressed here. The sound is good even coming out of the speakers. I would imagine with head phones it would sound even better. I'm to lazy to try it right now though.

Gameplay - 5/10

It plays just like the PS2 version....I don't even think there are extras. That's enough to take a few points off. Then there's the loading time...folks....I beg of ya, please stick to the console version. Your doing yourself a favor here not me. There's better games to play on the go than this. I know the PSP can do better loading than this, I've seen it do better before. I don't know how a company can justify releasing a game with huge loading times like this. The PSP has been drained of it's portability because of games that do this to us. Games like this tell you why people run things off their MS before even trying to give it a go. Devs really need to start working a bit harder in this respect.

PM World games have never been revolutionary in any way. They are pure 3-D platform games but are fun none-the-less. It takes the basic formula from every platformer you've ever played and puts you in the pacs shoes.

Story - 8/10

Story isn't the strong point in PM games, it's solid though for what they are trying to achieve. Basically your brought into a different world by your ghosty friend and you have to save it. Some funky things happen along the way.

Graphics - 2/10

They didn't even try to make it presentable. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. It's so choppy it drives me nuts. It's like they didn't even bother. I swear to God the DS version plays(and even looks)better than this one.

Just steer clear. I would imagine most people with a PSP will also have a PS2 as well. Do yourself a favor and stick to that version(or whatever other home console you might have). Don't rent it, don't buy it unless you feel like supporting more half assed ports. Shame on you Namco! I'm going to go and wish I had my money back now.
