"A fantastic game."

Another great Hot Shots in the series. This improves what the other games didn't have. The unlockables it has is amazing. You won't regret getting this for the PlayStation Portable.

Gameplay (10/10)
The gameplay is spectacular. It's a great pick-up-and-play game. I don't think any other golf video game can match this one. The game has a 3 button press system for hitting the ball. One you start the meter, two you select the power your going to hit it at, and three for the impact of the ball. There are a bunch of clubs to choose from as you unlock them. They yield different results with each club. You choose the path the ball takes, but the wind will have a say in it too. The putting in this game is fantastic. Really, really easy to do. It has a red, blue, and green grid to show flat, upper, and lower surfaces. Putting couldn't be easier! There is also a putting mode that you can practice on. Really comes in handy for when your doing the real thing against another CPU.

There are a bunch of characters you can unlock as you proceed through the game. When your playing you either are doing a tournament or playing against a single opponent. The items you can unlock are amazing! There are so many to unlock. You can customize your character in so many ways. There is stuff like different kinds of hats, scarfs, shades, and a whole lot of other things.

Another feature I find great in this game is when you get a hole-in-one or a great shot, the game will save it and you can watch it later in the main menu. I really like that ability. You can show off to your friends your amazing golfing abilities.

Graphics (10/10)
The graphics will blow your mind out of the water. They are so realistic! The mountains, trees, animals all look so mind blowing. The lush green fairways also look great along with the water. It's amazing what the PSP can do. The characters were all very well done also. I just can't say enough good about the graphics in this game.

Sound (8/10)
The sound is about the only category that falls short in my opinion. The chirping of birds and the whack of you hitting the ball are fine. It's just the background music, they should have done something about that. It will get pretty repetitive but not to noticeable. Also your character has stuff he/she says. That can get pretty annoying too. The sound may be a little lacking but, it suits the game fine.

Multiplayer (8/10)
Now I haven't actually tried the multiplayer, I'm sure it would be fantastic. But one thing I wish they would have included is the ability to pass-and-play. As in you pass your PSP around to your friend once it's his turn. I mean, what are the odds your friend is gonna have a PSP AND Hot Shots Golf?

Replay Value (10/10)
The replay value is endless in this game. What with all the characters, courses, and items you can unlock. You'll be playing this game for a very long time.

Conclusion
I definitely recommend you pick this game up. It is a must-have for the PSP in my opinion. The overall gaming experience you will get from this game is awesome.
