Infected

Review by ZeldaFreak184

"A game that keeps getting better"

Gameplay: 8/10
This is where the game hits a low. Your mission is to save New York from the Infected (zombies). In order to do that, you must complete 35 missions and meet certain requirements for every mission. Every mission will consist of one or more of the following:
-Kill every Infected in the stage
-Beat the mission in a certain time
-Pick up civilians and bring them to helicopters
-Protect civilians (no helicopter) from the Infected
There are many good parts to the gameplay also. You can create your own custom cop to destroy the Infected. Throughout the game, you can unlock Slipknot characters and many more different "AVATARS." As you continue to play the game, you can upgrade your guns, along with your health and speed.
You can also play online with other people with a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network.) When you kill someone, a "virus" is created and it spreads. You can then track your virus through the internet.

Graphic: 9/10
The graphics were truly amazing. Considering all the action, everything flows pretty smoothly. For such great gameplay and graphics, the load times are no longer than 20 seconds.

Sound: 8/10
Other than the sound of blood and screaming, you will hear music from many bands such as Slipknot. You can also here your footstep in the background, the firing of your weapon, etc. Its truly remarkable!

Replay Value: 10/10
This game can be replayed for a long time for many reasons. In every mission, you are awarded a gold, silver, or bronze medal. One reason to replay is to get all gold medals. If you didn't get certain upgrades, you can continue going no missions, getting money, and so on. There are also many AVATARS, so you can always be on the search for new things. Plus, there is a multiplayer mode online, so you can always have fun going against someone in the world.

Buy or Rent?:
This depends on what you want to do. If you want to beat the game, unlock everything, and play online with others, I suggest you buy the game. If all you want to do is beat the game, then I suggest you rent it. I BEAT IT IN 2 DAYS!! It took me another week to unlock all the AVATARS. I've been playing online with others around the world ever since.
