Game Boy Advance

Review by DaGame007

"This is too much!"

Well! Well! Look what we have here! Another portable system by Nintendo, the innovators of portable video gaming! The Game Boy Advance is a thing that you have to own! This system is like having a portable Playstation right in you hands! And on to the review!

The System Layout: 9/10
Game Boy Advance shines in this category of my criteria. The Game Boy Advance is small and portable. It fits perfectly into your pocket even if you have a game pack in the system! The button places is good but not superior. It is not superior because you will find yourself having fingerprints on your screen. And you know how much we hate that! The system requires 2 double A batteries to run which last for 15 hours of gameplay. The colors of the system are very awesome and so far they include: Glacier (Clear and bluish), Arctic (White), Indigo (Purple) and soon to be released Fushia (Clear Pink).

Screen: 8/10
The screen of the system is just great. The screen is 50% bigger than its predecessor, the Game Boy Color. There are two main flaws to the screen - it scratches way to easily and the screen is dark, extremely dark.... You might need a light. The most preferable would be getting a light shield or getting a Light Boy Advance, which serves as a magnifier, light source and protects the screen.

Gameplay 10/10
The games are just great. They are at the top notch quaility. There are many games that are on the way that you are going to want. Nintendo really makes a great impression with the gameplay standards. You will be playing four player multiplayer matches with your friends all night long! You will be just saying ''WOW!''

Sound 9.5/10
The sound is really great for a portable system. But for some games it can be really from back then like the SNES days. Castlevania Circle Of the Moon is a good example of good sound usage on the Game Boy Advance. You will hear every bit of detail of the sound in any game.

Worth Buying or Renting?
BUY! BUY! The system is so great you would want to buy two them! It is such a great machine that you will be shelling out battery packs days in and days out. I used my free supply of batteries that came with the Game Boy Advance in two days! It is really worth the $100 that you give out.
