"Absolutely Fantastic!"

I'm sure that most of you are aware of the Pokemon series. You play the trainer and try to collect all of the Pokemon while collecting badges as well. This time around, it's a bit different. YOU are the Pokemon! In this game you travel through dungeons with partners and explore.

Story- 10/10

If I give it more than a 10, I would. The story is just wonderful on so many levels. It's very deep and unique. At times you may even feel as if you are watching a movie. I know some people who play this JUST for the story. A side note: If this story doesn't make you at least close to crying, you are a very heartless person.

Gameplay: 9/10
It's fun. It can get very addicting after a while. The fact that the dungeons change every time you go inside makes the game very challenging,yet fun at the same time. Very nice and unrepetitive.

Controls- 9/10

The controls are very easy to learn and use once you get into it. You may struggle for th first five minutes, but you will fins it very easy after that. Plus, if you forget what the controls are, they are displayed on the top screen for you! Isn't that convenient :)

Graphics- 9/10

They are very well done for the DS. The Pokemon looks very close to the real things and the backgrounds are very crisp and pretty. The cutscenes that they show throughout the game are likely to have you in awe. Great job here.

Sound- 10/10

OK, some of the songs that you hear in this game are going to be stuck in your head for a while after you play this game, trust me. They also match what is going on as well. For example: If you are in a dark, scary dungeon the music shall match up with that, but if you are in a happy forest, prepare for some forest music. This also helps in the story as well. If someone is sad, the music will be sad as well. It's great music that as well thought out.

Replayability- 8/10

You are going to be busy for a while. The main sotry will keep you busy for quite a bit. Once you are done with that, there is a whole other story to be completed as well! If you manage to finish that, you can recruit all the Pokemon or explore every dungeon. There is always something to do.

Overall- 9/10

An amazing game! You can tell that Nintendo tried very hard on this one and it shows. If you are a true Pokefan like me, I recommend you buy this immediately!
