Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness
Review by Loglog365
"Epic adventure"
This game is 1000 times better than the original, it has graphics, an actually story line, real dialog, not just "a new dungeon opened up lets go to it". The rewards for beating things are much more fulfilling, why?, because the dungeons are actually somewhat hard not so easy you can glide through the game without any training. If any of you have played the first one, I'm sure you'll rethink selling this game back in a week.
Gameplay- 9/10- Nothing has changed from the old one but its still fun. It is a bit more challenging but as a said more rewarding. Pokemon Square has nothing on Treasure Town.
Graphics- 10/10- It is has way better graphics, with 3D cut scenes. It now has a little better shot of your Pokemon on the top screen character info. Overall much more appealing in every aspect. Much better from last game where the moves were corny and boring or time consuming.
Sound- 8/10- I guess it's catchy but who really listens to the sound. If you do you'll need to change areas a lot because it gets quite annoying after a while. Every dungeon has its own music and there is no replays. This game has a melody of its own.
Story-10/10- It will keep you guessing until the end, you are once again a human trapped in a Pokemon's body, but you will meet new friends, have new adventures in dungeons, and it consist of over 25 chapters of epic adventures
WI-Fi connectivity- 7/10- Its very boring to use this and all you can do is rescue fainted friends by sending an SOS. I guess its helpful to not lose halfway through a 99 level dungeon due to a monster mash room, where the Pokemon fly from the roof and swarm you. Problem most people don't have friends that are playing the game 24/7 and near a wi-fi point you come and help you. If you have a friend like that then kudos
Replay ability- 10/10- you can start with a new team of 2 out of 16 Pokemon not to mention the fact you know whats coming up so you can train before and not lose all your items and money. The starter Pokemon all have a variety of moves and abilities so every adventure is differnent.
Overall- 10/10- Although it has a few kinks it's still very fun and will last you a long time. My final point is to go BUY THIS GAME NOW!!!
