"Big, but ok"

The Xbox is a great system. While it’s not my favorite system, I still have a lot of respect for it. I do hate the company (Microsoft) that makes it, but that has nothing to do with the system. I really like the Xbox, it just doesn’t have that many good games. When I think of the Xbox I think more of a multitasking machine than a video game system, although, that’s probably what Microsoft was aiming for.

Design

The Xbox is bigger than the average system, and it’s not very portable. But then again, Xbox fixes that problem because it has a built in memory hard drive, which can come in very, very useful. I really don’t like the shade of Lime Green they decided to use, but that’s just my opinion. I really don’t have a problem with the design, they could have made it a little smaller, but oh well.

Controller

I really like the Xbox controller. It just feels right. It did rip off the Dream Cast Controller, but Sega doesn’t make consoles anymore so I guess it really doesn’t matter. Besides that I think it may have one or two extra buttons that aren’t needed, but besides that is alright.

Games

This is probably the worst part of the Xbox. It has maybe one or two remarkable games. The rest are either mediocre or complete crap. The ones that are good are really good though, such as: Halo, and Dead or Alive 3.

Graphics

The graphics are undoubtedly the best part of the system. These graphics make games like Halo and Dead or Alive 3 ten times better than they would be if they didn’t have graphics like they do with the Xbox. The Xbox’s graphics are unsurpassed by any other system. They make games look unbelievable.

Sound

The sound on the Xbox is average. It’s pretty good, but it really just depends on what speakers you have. So, I guess, it’s just average.

Memory

The memory in the Xbox is great. It has a built in hard drive so you don’t have to buy memory cards. The only reason you would have to buy a memory card is if you wanted to go over to somebody else’s house and play your file, but, I personally, don’t think that it’s worth it to pay $20 just to take your memory to your friends house.

Conclusion

Basically the Xbox is a really good system, if you need graphics to enjoy a game than definitely get this system. It is sure to be remembered as a mark in the console world.
